¹ Salarly LLC currently provides loans to United States citizens and permanent residents who reside in a state where Salarly LLC is licensed, who are above the age of 18, who work for an eligible employer, and who otherwise meet Salarly’s eligibility and underwriting standards.

Application & Eligibility

Am I eligible to apply for a loan?

You can apply for a loan with Salarly if you meet the following criteria:
  • Be at least the age of majority in your state (typically 18 years old) and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • Be employed by an eligible employer with at least 6 months of verifiable employment history.
  • Reside in a state where Salarly offers credit products.
  • Have an active U.S. bank account and a Social Security Number.
  • Not be in active bankruptcy
  • Not be active-duty military or a dependent of one.
  • For loans between $2,000 and $5,000:
    • No minimum credit score required.
    • Annual income of at least $40,000.
  • For loans between $5,500 and $15,000:
    • Good-to-excellent credit required.
    • Annual income of at least $80,000 for loan amounts between $5,500 and $10,000.
    • Annual income of at least $100,000 for loan amounts between $10,000 and $15,000.
  • Other credit criteria may apply. Eligible applicants are assessed on the strength of their application and loan approval is not guaranteed.

What information do I need to provide?

  • Applicants will be asked to share employment, income, financial obligations, credit history, and bank account details. This information is used to assess eligibility and to ensure loan affordability.
  • Applicants will connect to their employer’s payroll provider and bank account to verify their information during the application process.
  • To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, we obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, social security number, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your government-issued ID.

How much can I borrow?

  • Loan amounts range from $2,000 to $15,000. The loan amount you qualify for is determined by several factors, including but not limited to, your income, credit profile and employment status.

When will I know if I am approved?

  • Salarly offers a fully online application and approval process that results in most applications decisioned within minutes. Some applications are subject to manual review which may delay processing time.

Do I have to link my bank account?

  • Yes, our loan programs require you to link to a bank account where you receive your paycheck.

How will I get my money?

  • Loan proceeds will be deposited to your bank account on file via ACH.

How long does it take to get my money?

  • Once approved, your funds will be delivered to your bank account within 1-3 business days. The funding timeframe may depend upon your bank's policies.

Do you run a credit check, and will that impact my credit score? Is there a minimum credit score to apply?

  • Yes, we run a credit check when you apply for a loan to assess your eligibility and creditworthiness. If you accept your loan offer and take out a loan, it may impact your credit score.
  • Credit score requirements vary by loan type:
    • For loans between $2,000 and $3,000 there is no minimum credit score required.
    • For larger loans between $3,500 and $15,000 good-to-excellent credit is required.

What if my application was rejected?

  • If the information you provided and the information we verified tell us that you don’t meet our lending criteria, we won’t be able to give you a loan at this time. Please review the application's basic eligibility requirements to ensure you meet all criteria before reapplying.
  • If your situation changes or you’d like to apply for a smaller loan, you may reapply after 7 days.

Can I get another loan before I have paid off the one I have now?

  • We allow only one loan outstanding at a time; however, we do offer a refinancing program allowing you to apply for additional funds once certain eligibility criteria is met.

How much will my loan cost?

  • The annual percentage rate (APR) on Salarly loans typically ranges from 22.99% to 29.99%, depending on your loan type and credit profile.
  • In certain states, APRs may differ from the typical range due to state regulations. All loan costs and the APR are disclosed to customers in the loan agreement prior to it being signed.

What fees do you charge? Is there a fee to apply?

  • Loan amounts may be charged an origination fee of up to $25. Loans to good-to-excellent credit customers typically are not charged an origination fee.

  • There is no prepayment penalty if you pay your loan early.

  • Payments are made directly from your paycheck via a direct deposit, ensuring timely and hassle-free repayment.

Is a direct deposit required for a Salarly loan?

  • Yes, a payroll direct deposit is required for loan approval.

Can I cancel my direct deposit?

  • Yes, you may cancel the payroll direct deposit repayment anytime through your payroll provider. Alternative payment methods would need to be set up to ensure you do not default on your repayment schedule which could result in negatively impacting your credit score.

  • You may log in to your account on salarly.com at any time to access your payments dashboard.

Can I pay early? Can I make additional payments?

  • Yes, there is no prepayment penalty if you pay your loan early. You can find your pay-off amount by logging in to your account. Please note that it generally takes 2 business days to process your payment and debit your bank account.
  • Yes, additional payments may be made anytime online, free of charge.

What happens if I pay late? Is a late fee applied?

  • For any late payments, we may apply a late fee.

What happens if I take leave without pay?

  • If you will not be receiving a paycheck due to leave without pay, you may set up an alternative repayment method by logging into your account and setting up recurring ACH payments to match your repayment schedule.

  • If you leave your employer for any reason, you may set up an alternative repayment method by logging into your account and setting up recurring ACH payments, or simply contact us and we will work with you on a payment plan outside of the workplace.
